The date is incorrect on my camera and I can't find a place in the menu to change it. It's a Cabela's Outfitters 12mp camera.

When I turn on my c182 it says set time and date. when I do that next time I turn it on it says the same thing.

Usually when doing this you have to press 'Done' or something, not just go back to the menu. If you don't the date doesn't stick.

You can purchase the battery for your unit at pretty much any major sports outfitters stores.

Time on my Nikon D40 is incorrect.

Being that they changed when the daylight savings time happens everything doesn't adjust the new time accordingly. Go to your menu and scroll to the setup menu. Scroll down to world time and click ok. If you scroll down to date and click ok you can change the time there. Press up or down to change the date and/or time and right and lift to move to the next box. Hope this helps.
