It sounds like a possible leak within your water line or water filter and that is what could be causing your Electrolux refrigerator fan to freeze. I would recommend having a professional come out to properly diagnosis your refrigerator.

Sounds like you need to check if the unit went into a defrost cycle and made any ice build up inside the cabinet "slushy" and the water leveling itself and running down plastic liner parts to a place where it can escape underneath.

Frostfree freezer leaking from lower front

From what you have described, without a model number, it sounds like the unit is leaking from possibly going into a defrost cycle. Check to see if you have any ice build up that is now melting or "slushy" in that general area. Water tends to run along the nearest plastic ridges and parts til it can escape underneath.

Freezer wont shut off

This is more than likely a sign of Freon issue, where the machine runs non stop trying to reach a temperature that it never does. Even though things are freezing, like meats and such, they have water in them and that freezing point is 32 F. Check the ice cream if you have it in there, does it seem softer than normal, or not as solid as you like. If so, you have a leak and a tech should be called

Water is leaking inside the freezer at the bottom. It pools and freezes. Seems to be once per day. Any ideas

Clean the drain pan and drain line in the back of the freezer section underneath the evaporator coil. (hint: use turkey baster with hot water) Make sure water drains when you pour it in. If it doesn't - also clean drain tube on the back of the unit behind the cover. When done - put the tube exactly where it was.

the drain in the freezer is clog make sure the drain from the freezer is clean all the way to the pan next to the compressor . you need to open the back wall of your freezer for that ( the inside wall) clean with buster (water pump)the drain is in the bottom middle of the freezer

Clean out the defrost drain. There is a drain in the freezer that lets all the defrost water run under the fridge. If that gets clogged then all the water runs into the freezer and can even leak onto the floor

The freezer side is NOT freezing, but the refrigerator side seems to be cooling normally. I tried emptying the freezer compartment and setting the thermostat at maximum cold, but nothing seems to help....

Water building up on the bottom inside the freezer side

the drain in the freezer is clog make sure the drain from the freezer is clean all the way to the pan next to the compressor . you need to open the back wall of your freezer for that ( the inside wall) clean with buster (water pump)the drain is in the bottom middle of the freezer.

I have an electrolux Aeg santo fridge freezer. Frost free. There seems to be water leaking from the bottom.

remove back plate inside freezer. there is a drain tray at the bottom with a drain hole in the middle and this is blocked with ice. melt ice off with a hairdryer and follow up with hot water till water flows away freely. check drain tray heater is ok as well

Hi, Remove the rear inside panel of the freezer and locate the drain hole under the evaporator coil. Remove the ice and flush the drain hole with hot water to make sure it is free. You can try running a soft wire through the drain also.

I see you said you looked and the water valve is off but the only that I know of this happening is a defective water control valve. Like a dripping faucet that when off slowly drips until the ice forms and then one the ice maker dumps ice and tries to refill the water goes in every direction. Unplug water valve to confirm what I am saying, Tell me if it continues to leak. Sea Breeze
