Ipod nano screen froze, wont charge and says it is

i plugged my i pod nano in to charge and it was. then as i was scrolling through to find a song it froze. i tried turning it off, didnt work. i tried unplugging it still didnt work. right now its sitting on my desk not plugged in to anything telling me that its still charging, when i know its not. how the heck can i fix this???

Try doing this: Toggle the hold switch and put it back in the off position. Then press and hold the center button and the menu button simultaneously for ten seconds and the apple symbol should come up on the screen. Then it should work like normal. Hope this helps you!

It just froze try leaving it till the battery dies or if not then take the battery out and put a new one in. thats what i had to do with mine other than that there is no way, but, eventually i just got a new music player
