My sony ericsson phone (w880i) will not turn on, the battery is fully charged. When it would turn on it said there was no access to network and it kept freezing and it wouldn't allow incoming or outgoing calls or messages.

Turn off your phone and do not try to charge it. Take it to a nearest sony ericsson service centre.

This can be network-related so you might need to contact your network provider to address your concerns.

Or, your phone may not support the SIM card you are using so there may be a need to unlock the phone (at your local service shop) for it not to be identified with only 1 network. I hope I helped. =)

try reflashing the phone's firmware to correct this problem....take it to a mobile repair shop to have that done or try topsony.com.

Make sure the battery is fully charged i know it sounds like im taking the mike but if your phone has crashed then it may not be charging at all, then if that dosnt sort it then i would say you need to get your phoned flashed (software upgrade) this can be done by your local se service centre of unlocking shop

Attempt to start without sim. Try without memory card as welll.
