What is the procedure to remove condensate from behind the display of a Clarion XMD3 marine radio? A considerable amount of water droplets have accumulated and persisted.
The only way to remove moisture is to get it looked at by a local repair shop .Or remove radio yourself ..let it dry for a few days and see if it helped .Water in LCD may not dry completely and may rust LCD with in time

By removal, do you mean that the radio should be taken out of the dash/console and the outer metal case dismantled?
Would leaving the unit on with CD playing and exterior door open assist in the dry out? That approach has been recommended for condensate fogging.
Thanks.
The condensate disipated by leaving the CD on with the cover open for about 8 hours in strong sunlight. The LCD display is toast; however, all electronic functions are still operating. Thanks.
