HELP! i reinstalled Windows xp pro on my toshiba

- the card worked beautifully before i reinstalled xp pro now it doesnt even pick up the fact that its there. the device manager shows nothing. when i downloaded the ar5bmb5 driver from an acer website it popped up for a second but then windows fails again saying invalid something. i have to reboot in safe mode and uninstall the driver. does it have to do anythign with SP2. should i upgrade to SP3?? i cannot figure this out and im at a total loss. i read somewhere that maybe xp pro isnt compatible with toshiba and atheros drivers but i dunno if thats a fact and if it is surely there has to be somethign i can do to solve the problem
