DVD-VCR Reorder, Model DVD-V5650

This is a recorder for DVD and VCR applications. Only 3 months old, the problem sems to be mechanical. When trying to reject the VCR tape, the unit will not secure (or pull back the tape into it's housing). Therefore, the VCR casette cannot be extracted from the unit.

-   i have the same problem. i dismantled the unit and found a very small compression spring. my problem is i don't know where the spring goes.-   Guest

Hi.
On the more modern vcrs this problem can be caused by several things, Faulty mode switch, Deck alignment incorrect, reel idler faulty.
I would advise if the machine is only 3mths old it will be still be under warantee so take it back to shop.
