Question about Palm Treo 755p Smartphone

Phone button assigning error

Somehow I have assigned the phone button to Calendar & I can't get the button back to assigned to phone.  I can assign the phone button + the option button to anything I want but not just the phone button.
Does this take a Hard Reset to fix?

I've already tried a hard & soft resets & neither fixed the problem.

Same problem as Mike -- suddenly the phone button brings up the Calendar. When i went to preferences to check the mapping, the phone button was inaccessible. It says "phone" but I can't access it. I called Sprint and their tech support also told me to hard reset. I did - but the problem remains.

The phone button does not work, and when selecting "Phone" from the application menu, nothing happens. I can receive calls, and use my car's bluetooth voice dialing, but can't get to the phone screen.

On a Palm Centro, all of a sudden pressing Phone brings up the Calendar. The Preferences file says that button belongs to Phone, but Agendus says it belongs to Calendar. Neither app lets me reassign that button, so I can't even assign it temporarily to something else and then set it back to Phone. Has anyone solved this?

I think you are going to have to hard reset that to get it back to factory default. Sorry.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Need to assign stations to a one touch button

If the button is assigned as a feature button then, press Feature, Redial, button to program, dial 1 for intercom option, dial the extension your programming, Feature to write and exit. If the button is just a spare button not assigned as a feature button, then your programmer needs to do that before this will work.

Panasonic kxt7630 button assignment

I've never heard of the ability to reassign an intercom button as it's a fixed feature, but maybe so. Start by assigning the lower left phone button back to CO1 and let's see what happens. WIthout picking up the handset, press PROG the button and dial 0+01 STORE or ENTER.
Pick up the handset and drop it back in the cradle to exit programming.

Did that work? Making button 1 into CO1 will drop the programming from the intercom button and it should default back to intercom.

Automated Attendant not on everyone line

The below texts should help you.

**Found on page 9-8 of "Partner R6 Install and Upgrade Manual" so your system may vary slightly:

Use Line Assignment (#301) to assign all the lines that you want the auto attendant to cover
to extension X.

**Found on page 4-47 of "Partner R6 Install and Upgrade Manual" so your system may vary slightly:

To assign lines to a specific extension:
1. Press [Feature] [0] [0] [System Program] [System Program] [#] [3] [0] [1] at extension 10 or 11.
2. Enter the extension number to be programmed. For example, to program extension 15, press [1] [5]. The red light next to each button that has a line assigned is on steady; the red light next
to each button that has a pool assigned flashes.
3. To remove all existing line assignments, press [Remove] before selecting a line.
4. Enter the line number to be assigned. For example, to select line 1, press [0] [1].
5. Do one of the following:
■ If you want to assign the line to the first available button with lights, press [Next Data] until the
display reads:
Line Assignment 15 L01
1 Assigned
1 Assigned is the factory setting.
■ If you want to remove a line assignment, press [Next Data] until a display like the following
appears:
Line Assignment 15 L01
2 Not Assigned
■ If you want to assign the line to a specific button, press 3. A display like the following
appears:
Line Assignment 15 L01
3 Select a Button
Then press a button with lights to assign the line to that button. If you use option 3 after a
line already has been assigned, the line moves from the old button to the new button you
select.
6. Do one of the following:
■ To program another line for this extension, press [Next Item] or [Prev Item] until the line number
appears on the display. Then repeat Step 5.
■ To program another extension, press N P and begin at Step 2.
7. Select another procedure, or exit programming mode.

Not working

Astonishingly, assignment of announcement to phone line is not documented in the user manual. Tech support was totally worthless concerning this issue. I had to discover it by trial and error. To assign an announcement to a specific phone line do the following:
1) Record your announcement message for a, b, c, ao, etc. as documented
2) Press program
3) Keep pressing the feature button until ANNC appear at the bottom of screen, line 1 appears at the top, and the letter 'a' appears in the middle.
4) Choose the announcement to be assigned to Line 1 by pressing the select button
5) Press the feature button again. Line 2 appears in the display.
6) Repeat step 4 to select the announcement to be assigned to Line 2.
7) Press program button, or take phone off-hook to end the sequence.

Shame on AT&T for such shoddy documentation, and lack of support for their products!
