my wireless keyboard stopped responding. i replaced the batteries, even though, i had just replaced them days before to make sure that wasnt the problem. i pushed the receiver button on the underside of the keyboard. the light flashed on the receiver. mouse is still working fine and is off same receiver. i pushed the button on the receiver itself to recognize the keyboard also. light blinked in response. the hot keys all work, but not any of the numbers, letters, f keys, nothing. in the control panel, nothing is listed for the keyboard, but the mouse is listed. have restart computer several times.
i unplugged my computer to paint and when i reconnected everything my keyboard wont sync? the mouse works fine. i have tried to resync by removing batteries pressing on the connection button for a minute then pushing the connecting button on the receiver then putting the batteries back in the keyboard and pressing the connect button but nothing?? i have also changed the batteries????
I have the same problem. I have a HP 5219urf 2+ inallambric mouse and keyboard. The mouse works fine, but i cannot even enter my account in windows cause i cannot put the password! when i press a button the light of the reciever (or how its called) flashes, but nothing else happens... i have arleady changed the batteries and tried to connect it again, but it wont work...
There's a connection..cause the light flashes, but the only button that seems to work is the sleep (the one with the moon).
...i have some work in my computer due in tomorrow... i NEED that keyboard to work! please help!?
I changed the batteries in my hp media center wireless keyboard and pressed the connect buttons correctly and it still won't work. what can I do to fix this. I can't use my computer at all because I can't input the password. This happened one other time but I can't remember what fixed the problem.
I powered my computer down and unplugged my logitech keyboard and mouse receiver to clean out my computer. Now neither my keyboard or my mouse are working. The receiver light used to be a solid green, now it only flashes for about 10 seconds, and goes off again. I have tried replacing the batteries.
I cannot boot into windows to reinstall/troubleshoot, or get online to get driver updates as I cannot even log in to windows without a keyboard.

Solution. My wireles keyboard stopped working except for the F-Lock key, the Media key and the sleep key. It wasn't batteries, even though I tried, communication was there because the above keys were working. Remove the batteries from your keyboard and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the red connect button a few times and other various keys every few minutes during that time. This may be the whole "capacitor discharge" trick, but I tired that with someone elses instructions and my keyboard did not work after 2 minutes of key pressing. I think it just needed more time to clear out the secure settings. Good luck, I was about to trash this keyboard until I tried again
