hi there, i am installing windows 7 now and its prompted me for the drivers for my dvd rom (which doesnt make much sense because its just upgrading) anyway, it wont let me past and i need it badly! I need the .inf files an LG only gives out the .exe file which doesnt help me either. Apparently the Vista files are compatible.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I doubt that you'll be able to getmuch support for a product that hasn't been released to the puiblic yet.
The edition you have will be a Release Candidate which was released to developers to find any bugs.The RTM has only just been released to manufatures so that they can develop the drivers for when it goes on general release.
Basically you're jumping the gun a bit.

well I think you've jumped the gun with your reply. Im trying to install the released version I purchased just last week and have the same problem with the windows 7 install asking for driver for the dvd drive. What a pain when the driver is there and working with vista.
