Question about Akai CFTD2011 20 in. EDTV-Ready LCD Television
Sometimes I'll be watching a program and all of a sudden the volume disappears and there is no sound, then after a few seconds the picture goes out. Sometimes if I turn it off and on again it comes back and sometimes it doesn't come back till the next day.
If you have Cox Cable, and are using a Scientific Atlanta box, AND have "On Demand", and the volume suddenly goes out, turn your cable to the "on demand" channel (in Phoenix, AZ it's channel 1) and that usually restores the sound.
It's a known issue, and so far this is about the only solution that works quickly.
