you must connect the machine with you're computer.you want the fax you must check the you're photocopy machine have a fax board.you want the scan & printing connect the photocopy machine to the computer.(network cable)
It cannot be done without the dongle. But u can try the trial period, once the trial period is almost reach, u can try update the machine firmware. But not sure whether it can work or not...
its not the paper sensors you need to get to its the feed rollers,which will be above the paper tray near either the left or right side of machine. clean those with glass cleaner. if they appear smooth in any way they should be replaced, keep old ones to compare. what you are referring to as false jams we in the copier world call the "ghost jams"
