- Have the same problem just 15 days after I bought my iphone. I had to take it to the apple store and they re-set it. Promised that since they upgraded the solfware, it would not happen again. Just after 2 months, I am having the same problem now.- Guest

Try this:

Go to settings --> phone --> switch "show my caller ID" to on. then try to make your phone call again. It works for me.
