SOURCE: I have Gateway 98 Windows

It appears that you are using Windows 98 as your operating system, if this is the case it is not compatible with the newer Ipod software. The new Ipod's require at least Windows XP service pack 2, Vista, or newest Mac software. Here is a link to Apple's website so you can check the system requirements in the support section. http://www.apple.com/support/

SOURCE: Loading itunes

Hi there,
Simple fix:

  • I'm sure you've already done this part but just for safeties sake go to the Apple site and download the very latest iTunes http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
  • Next press and hold the standby button. It will ask slide to turn off, do this.
  • Now press and hold both the Power and Home buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple symbol appears.
  • Now connect it to your PC.
  • If iTunes doesn't startup automatically or isn't already open then open it up.
  • Select the touch in the sidebar of iTunes then click on the Summary tab at the top of the main page.
  • Click “Check for Update.” iTunes tells you if there’s a newer version of the iPod touch software available.
  • Click Update to install the latest version of the software. Or click Restore to restore. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the restore process.
For more info refer to pages 97, 104-5 & 111 of the user guide (also available from http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipodtouch) and the knowledge base article here

All the best

Whats the easiest way to factory reset my lg android or to hard reset

You gave an android device name, and then an iPad error message, so I'm not sure sure what kind of device you have, but I will tell you how to restore an iPad and an Android to factory, which is I believe what is you want to do. Both options can be done without unlocking the device.

First, Android.

I have a iPod 4thgen version 6.16 sincethelast update I have been unable to load it's very slow when selecting my level starts to load then goes blank back to my home screen how do I fix this

try going into settings and rolling back the update for if this does not work connect to a computer using the usb cable and going into the settings of this device through your computer this device after done loading should appear in the pc screen where your devices are shown and is it doing this when you click on a folder or song? also make sure you have anything (songs, pics, etc)on the device if have done a factory reset it may have deleted everything you had downloaded to the device and you may have to start all over.but your best bet it to roll back the updates keep in mind not all updates mean better sometimes they are not checked thoroughly before being put out.if you have a windows pc you may need to download apple software to properly use these files if you just sent these files off a windows os to the mac device it may be doing this because the file types are not agreeable http://www.apple.com/itunes/?cid=OAS-US-DOMAINS-itunes.com try this software when downloading your music, video, etc to your ipod to see if this is even an update problem i hope this helped you out have a good new year.

How do you permanently delete pictures from an iPad 2 that have previously been deleted?

normally with a full restart of an iPad the cache/trash is cleared.
- but to be more safe I recommend to do a restore and connect the iPad to a computer with iTunes. Through iTunes you can do a factory reset of the device.
just be sure not to sync the photos on iTunes.
-iPad restart is done by pressing the sleep button for 5 secs.
then a slider appears where you can turn it off:

2.Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
3.Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
4.Uncheck all of the albums or folders that you want to remove from the iPad under the Sync Photos from heading.
