Generic problem for all DVD Players

DVD skips and freezes on other dvd players

I have a DVD of home movies that I have transfered. I used a Sony DVD burner to burn DVD's. I have problems playing back(skipping and freezing) on my usual DVD player and 2 others, but no problems on my Sony DVD player/burner.
