Hey is ther any why i can run six Speakers off this head unit + an amp and sub system?

What is the watts on the head unit and if its got 50 x 4 channels that should be enough to run the front dash and door speakers if not then a 4 Channel amp while do the trick but if the head unit has the 50 x 4 channels witch is 200 watts and it does fine running the dash and door speakers all you need is the amp to run your subs and make sure you tune it well cause that makes all the difference also...

Speakers are connected via spk wires...they are white, grey, green and purple. Sub will need an amp to power it. Use the rca or sub out on back of stereo to run to amp.

If you are replacing the existing door/deck speakers with replacements of the same size and not adding an amplifier, you will be able to use the existing wiring, making note of the positive and negative notation.
Subwoofers, on the other hand, require an amp. There are subs that have an integrated amp in the enclosure, otherwise you will need to buy a separate amp. Connecting the amp to your existing system will highly depend on what outputs your head unit (aka stereo) has. If it has pre-amp outputs, those can be run straight to sub amp. If there are not pre-amp outputs, you may have to buy a "high level" adapter that connects to the same head unit outputs as your speakers.

The bus connection is actually not an RCA looks very, similar i think if you look at it it will say IN. as far as i remember its an input for like a CD changer. Run a Y splitter on one of the other RCA out put, split the signal and run one to your bass amp. it does not affect the voltage in the RCA signal. i think your amp is trying to send a signal instead of receiving one.

check the out put of the head unit . check the out put on amps check speakers do this all with a DMM Digital multi meter, check that amps aren't in protect. check ground on head unit. if you dont know how go to you tube and type in such as, this how to test speakers with a DMM many videos on all subjects.how to test amp out put with the humming you may have a short or a blown speaker some where.

Hi, you can split the preamp RCAs with Ys available everywhere. The amp input impedance shouldn't cause much load on the head unit. Let us know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

this is the same as a home speaker system, if installing an amp and sub you need to make sure you have a pre-out on your cd/tape/radio head unit. this will look like a red and white hole usally with l and r on it,
you will need to run a male phono to phono lead from the head unit to the amp, You will also need to run a fused live 12v from your battery to the amp live input (red wire) and a remote (usally blue) from your head unit to the amp (make sure you run the live ond remote on opisite sides of the car to the phonos as they can interfere with each other).
you also need to run an earth/ground to your amp, this must not be to long, i normaly just un srew a screw in the boot and connect it to that.
once this is done you can wire up your sub to the amp making sure to match - to - and + to plus.

does the head unit still work?or is it just the speaker thats gone,must have been a sh*t hot amp or a **** speaker lol...does the amp work?
the resistor has probably gone on the sub or if not then the fuse has gone on the amp or on the back of the head unit.
i don't know i need more info about unit/sub & amp like watts & amps of them makes & models etc.....

try running the cables trough a crossover & u can run what u want to what speakers u want
