I have the same speed problem with my Macbook Pro and the N150

It is a well known issue.

If you find your Mac is running slowly, there are a number of potential causes that you can check. Your computer's startup disk may not have enough free disk space. To make disk space available, you can move files to another disk or an external storage device, then delete files you no longer need on the startup disk.

Hi, how are the Apple TV and MacBook Pro connected to the network, could be a flakey WiFi connection and/or lots of traffic on your local network... are you able to connect both via ethernet cable and retest, how many other users connected to your network? Cheers, John

1. insert the DVD given with mac book pro
2. restart
3. before rebooting (restart musical cord) press alt (option) key, when the display appears
4. now you have to select which source disk you wish to start
5. must select the DVD you were insert

There are issues with OSX on some monitors. On Lion and older OSX, you may get better results by playing with your Macbook screen settings and resolution. OR I found many of these issues were addressed when I upgraded to OSX Mavericks (free) it now handles external displays and resolutions much better. But you might simply have inadvertanly set the wrong color profile. Go to Finder: then System preferences then Displays. Choose the Color tab/button and select one of the color profiles or choose calibrate and follow the prompts

For all the PC to connect to each other, they must all be on the same network name and each computer must share set up folder/s or drive/s with Network sharing.

The antennas in the Macbook Pros have had an issue with reception due to the aluminum housing of the laptop but, should still receive decent reception just not as much as a plastic Macbook or plastic PC laptop. It could be possible that the antenna's cables have become disconnected from the Airport Extreme card inside your Macbook Pro, that the card itself is faulty or damaged or that the Antennas themselves have been damaged in some way. As always make sure you have the latest updates and have installed any driver updates from Apple regarding your Airport Extreme card. there should be a small hole on the disk drive. with a paper clip push this in the hole and push. this should eject tray enough to pull it out the rest of the way.
