SOURCE: replacing the drive belt Nordictrack

basically you will be just about to take your treadmill, almost totally apart. But the are not many nuts and bolts to solving your problem, first Lay treadmill on its side and locate the rear roller bolts, on mine their are 2, most tread mills are all the same, remove them 2 bolts, Now locate the front roller bolt, 1 bolt, remove bolt, your belt is going to be very loose now, on the side that you would be walking on, Is a board, 6 phillips head screws, Hold the board to the metal frame, remove them, remove the board, then go back to the rear roller, And remove the plastic end caps that hold the rear roller too the metal frame, by gently tapping them off, remove old belt from rear roller, Now go to front roller, and remove belt from front roller, and its time to Install new Belt, AND AJUST NEW BELT, Put belt on front roller and reinstall roller, put plastic end caps back on frame, and then reinstall rear roller threw the belt and reconnect to the plastic end caps on the rear of the frame, Now reinstall the board with 6 phillip screws, to the metal frame, Now turn treadmill upright again, Its time to AJUST YOUR NEW BELT 1st Center your New Belt, Then tighten rear roller bolts, ( Pay Attention ) Count even amount of turns for both Rear roller bolts, Then Ajust front roller Alignment, Their is only 1 bolt on most treadmills, So if your belt is pulling to one side when you turn the treadmill on,it means you still have to ajust the front roller ajustment screw, What I Do Is , I USE A small leveling tool, For the front roller ajustment, It KEEPS the pitch EVEN on both sides of the front roller, and this is HOW YOU REPLACE YOUR BELT AND AJUST THE NEW BELT, and save your self some money, enjoy, in you need to contact me, [email protected]

SOURCE: Need to replace the drive belt on my Weslo Momentum 610 elliptical

Which version of the Momentum 610 do you have? Here is a drive belt for the WLEL14051 and WLEL14052. There are a few slightly different model numbers for the Momentum 610 listed here that do not have drive belts listed in their parts list, so it is possible that the first link works for those two, but I could contact them to make sure.

Nordictrack 10i - intermittently belt will not restart

If the belt on your Nordictrack 10i elliptical machine is intermittently not restarting, it could indicate a problem with the belt drive system. This could be caused by a number of factors such as:
  • a worn or damaged belt
  • a malfunctioning drive motor
  • a problem with the belt tension adjustment
  • a problem with the drive belt pulley
It could also be an issue with the electronics of the elliptical machine, such as a problem with the control board or a sensor that is not functioning properly.
It would be best to take your elliptical machine to a professional repair shop for further diagnosis and repair. They will be able to test the belt drive system, the electronics, and determine the cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs.
You can also try to do some basic troubleshoot by checking the belt tension, making sure the belt is aligned correctly and cleaning the machine.
Please note that elliptical machines require regular maintenance such as lubricating the moving parts and checking the tightness of the bolts, keeping it in good condition will decrease the chances of breakdowns

Why is my elliptical not gliding smoothly?

I do not know anything about your machine. But from a general mechanical standpoint. It sounds as if the belt is not routed properly, or is the wrong size. You can also inspect where the belt rides for debris from the old belt. Something could be stuck somewhere. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Extreme noise in elliptical when using

With regard to the clunking in the NordicTrack E7sv it turned out to be the left side wheel to crankshaft connection. It had come loose. I removed the left side foot rods and wheel cover plate for access. I re-seated the wheel on the shaft and tightened the hardware. Noise gone. So is all the squeaking associated with it loosening.

Nordic Track elliptical E7: The tension belt came off. It's not apparent how it goes back. Are there diagrams that show the way the belt is attached to the tension cable?

If you are looking at right hand side of unit you have the flywheel next to it adjusting tension plate. If you have your manual handy it will show how to loosen this part so you may loop over the small idler pulley which goes around the much larger pulley wheel if not here is the web page to go to and its on page 21 Hope this nugget will help!
