I have a GHW9100LWl washer. It sometimes flashes F02 and stops. Alson when it is in the spin cycle, it is very loud and had a knocking sound. Please help.

It sounds like its a bearing

the bearings may need to be changed

drain or drain pipes blocked
bearings gone

is that a top load or front load washer?

sounds like you are dealing with the same problem as me .
take off the front panel (after unplugging power) take a flash lite and look at the large pulley at the back just below the pulley is the helix check to see if they are worn .

sometimes the agitator gets loose, causing the drum to sway to far all over the place.make sure its tight , remove the softener dispenser (manual nut), then tighten the metal nut that holds the agitator down

sound like you need new bearings a good 2hr job

Sometimes this can happen when the connector from the transmission to the drive of the agitator is worn and needs to be replaced.Similar to tyhe drive shaft of a rear wheel drive v-8 car!
