I have an idea, forget the math, put a stick in Mark the level, and then drain out one gallon and mark the level again.

SOURCE: How many gallons per hour does this car lose?

hey
at the begging u should clarify how many gallon u used.
112 miles at 28 miles per gallon --> 4 gallons burned (112/28)
So that means we leaked 11 - 4 = 7 gallons

Now figure out how long the car was driving.
112 miles at 64 miles per hour --> 1.75 hours

So, leak was at a rate of 7 gallons in 1.75 hours
7/1.75 = 4 gallons per hour leaked.

SOURCE: 1995 Saab 900 Won't Take A Fill Up

Sorry if this gets posted twice. I have a 95 Saab 900, which I just acquired. I can get only about 4 or 5 gallons in at a time. The best analysis I found was this one where the man pinpoints a stuck valve in the gas tank, and tells of what he did to address it.: http://www.quasimotors.com/9_5_gas_fill_prob.htm

SOURCE: 2000 Ford Expedition Starting problem

If the fuel gauge drops off when you are driving then its a sending unit problem that means you have to drop the tank and replace the float and sending unit. This is a common problem for alot of cars because of cheap gas. If you have to drop the tank check the fuel pump canster for dirt because of cheap gas. Replace the fuel pump strainer and fuel pump filter. If the car or truck has about 100,000 miles you might want to change the fuel pump at that time also just to cover your back. If you take it to a shop they will charge you at least $900 to start. But if you do it yourself it will cost you about $200 dollars maybe alittle more.

What capacity of 1995 Reinell boat gas tank ?

They made a few models in 1995. Fill a 2 gallon portable tank. Stay close to marina. Let the boat tank run run out. Fill with the 2 gallon tank. Go to marina and fill it. Or you can measure the volume, L x W x H to get cubic feet, multiply by 7.48.

How much water goes in an 36x 25 fish tank how many gallons

volume requires 3 measurements:
height, width and depth (from front to back)

Once you have the 3 dimensions you can multiply them together to get the volume in whatever unit you measure in, Centimeters/Inches/feet etc.

once you have your volume you can google a conversion table to figure out your unit to gallons/litres/ etc.

In a 550 gallon barrel,how many gallon would 14 inches be ?

If the barrel is the same size from bottom to top, measure the height and divide 550 by that number. That'll give you the gallons per inch measurement. Take that number and multiply it by the 14 inches and you'll have the gallons contained at that level. This will only work if the barrel is the same diameter all the way up.

72in x 29in x 24in how many gallons calculator

72 x 29 x 24 = 50,112 cubic inches / 1728* = 29 cubic feet. There are 7.48 gallons per cubic foot, so the tank is actually 216.92 gallons, assuming the dimensions given are inside measurements. I hope you have a strong stand and floor because the water alone weighs 1735.36 pounds (8 pounds per gallon).

*12 x 12 x 12 = 1728 (cubic inches to cubic feet conversion)

Water capacity kawe860w

I don't have the number for you, but I can offer a method for measuring it. First, the next time you do laundry, set the water level switch to where you will use it for the dyeing task. With the lid open, but with no clothes inside, turn on the washing machine. Observe and note the level of the water when the machine stops filling. Measure the depth of the water. Add clothes and detergent and wash in the usual manner - you don't need to waste that water.

Next, pour four gallon jugs of water into a clean five-gallon pail, and mark the level in the pail (four gallons in the pail is much easier to handle than a brim-full five gallons). Pour that into the machine, and measure the depth. Put in another four gallons of water, and measure the depth again. If the bottom part of the agitator is covered by the first four gallons, you can can calculate from the increase in depth made by the second four gallons how many more gallons you need to get to the fill depth. (The bottom of the agitator takes up more volume per inch of depth than the center and top,) If the bottom of the agitator is not covered by the first four gallons, but is covered by the second four, then add a third four-gallon pour and measure the depth once more.

Here is an example measurement: water depth on chosen load size setting: 16 inches.

Depth on first four gallons: 2 1/2 inches (some of the water is under the bottom of the inner tub). The agitator bottom taper is almost covered, but not quite.

Depth on second four gallons: 7 inches. The water level is above the bottom section of the agitator, so from this point the water depth will increase by the same amount per gallon added.

Depth on the third four gallons: 11 inches. We can now see that from this point, adding four gallons makes the water level go up four inches, so to reach the 16 inch mark,we need five more gallons. The total will be 4+4+4+5 = 17 gallons.

For what it's worth, there's about 7.48 gallons per cubic foot. If your machine's outer tub holds an additional cubic foot of water, my example numbers may be roughly what you will get.
