are you using a universal fan or engine fan?if you are using a universal fan then check the wiring there on it but if its the engine fan check your fan belt because it runs with the stearing pump

Does the power steering have fluid in it. Is the belt on the pump. With it running take the cap off of the pump and see if fluid is moving around. If u feel the steering knucle is to tight u can also take the tie rod off and see if it turns free. Also go back to who fixed it and say its not right, Make it right. Most garages give 12 month or 12.000 mile warranty.

On some Camrys the radiator fan is run by hydraulic pressure from the power steering pump. I think the sensor you mention is the engine coolant temperature sensor, which is in the circuit which operates the fan when the engine becomes hot. If this fails the engine will overheat, yes. The fan does not cool the hydraulic fluid from the pump.

If your power steering fluid gets low the same thing can happen, but you would notice immediately as the steering would become intermittently harder.

This is the routing of the serpentine belt for your Camry. #1 is the crankshaft pulley and #2 and #3 are the tensioner setup. The diagram is not very specific, but I would say that the other big pulley is the AC., the one above #1 is the tensioner and the one next to it would be the water pump with the power steering pump being one of the top ones.

Yes. That belt has to be very tight. If it looks worn or stretched it needs to be replaced. Adjust until there is 1/4 in deflection.

?? I looked at a couple of pics on line and it looks like the power steering pump is on it's own belt. May be the A/C compressor but I'm not sure.

Locate the idler pulley. Loosen the nut in the center of the idler pulley. Then loosen the bolt that protrudes from the back of the pulley. This will let the belt go slack.

you are not telling enough informatioun :but what you are saying i would suspect an loose power steering belt or low power steering fluid.hope this helps .adrian

On the '92-95 V6 Camry, the radiator fan is hydraulically operated by the power steering fluid and power steering pump. If the fan isn't running as fast as it should be, check your power steering fluid level.
