The drive gears seem to be slipping on my Black and Decker LE750 edger. It's only about 2 years old with moderate usage. It it possible that it's worn out already?

I have a black and decker 2 in 1 edger/trimmer model LE750 type 3. I ordered a blade, but it is not like the blade I have on my edger!!! Has black and decker changed the blade?!

Always a possibility since they do reserve the right to make changes /improvements. Contact them to get the prior, older blade.

Why does the blade on my Black & Decker Edger spin counter-clockwise? I've "flipped" the blade as suggested in another post about this same issue but of course did not correct the issue. Help?

Possibly the Start capacitor has leaked or has rusted. happened to my garden shreader! if you get the timing right when you start it it might work normaly. if not try to replace capacitor or get it servised

I have the edge hog LE 750 and had to replace the spindle and gear because the teeth stripped out. My question is how much grease goes into the cavity where the gear rides? Do I coat the gears or do I fill...

Coat the gears and add a bit extra but do not fill the entire cavity.

Black and decker edger overheats and shuts off

Use a better extension cord. Buy a extension cord with 12 gauge wire. The longer the cord, the more electrical resistance there is, which causes heat. Therefore use the smallest length of cord possible.

Gears will wear out and can be purchased for 8.00. It will take about 30 minutes to replace.

Yes,if you look closely, you may find the screws on the plate around the blade spindle are loose, causing gear seperation
