I need help calling someone that can repair an LG AC that has a bad compreser under warranty

The error is that the DC voltage is too high, not the house AC voltage. It should regulate through a transformer. Get LG to send an engineer under warranty. If you have a multimeter, you can test your house voltage.

First you need to check your a/c clutch. This is located in front of your compreser, You can check by having someone ture on a/c and watch the compreser and see if it kick's in and turns, If it does your ok if not needs replaced, But more then likely you just need to charge you a/c unit with frezon. Best of luck to you.

the microphone can be replaced if the phone is under warranty - just call your cell service provider and ask where the nearest repair shop is located.

Most likely it is a LCD panel failure.
If it is out of warranty I would call LG to see if they could help with the repair cost. Their Customer Service Phone Number is 1800--243-0000.
If it is under warranty, they could help you find a Authorized Service Facility near you to repair it.

Try calling someone else, if that is the same then your handsets Microphone is damaged, if this is the case then change the Mic and all should be fine. If the phone is still under warranty its best to get it done for free under the warranty.

$175 sounds like it is labor only as these boards go for anywhere between $300 and $375 each based on where you get them. The Z and Y boards are called sustainer boards and they are on the left and right hand side of the television when you take the back off. Unless you really know what you are looking at when you look at circuit boards, there is no way to tell what's actually bad on them. Under warranty we just replace them and send the faulty one's back to Vizio. If this tv is still under warranty, call vizio and they will send someone like me out to you house and fix it there.

call 877-543-8325 this is an LG Executive call center and they will fix this for free. I have a 50" plasma I bought january 2006 which is out of warranty by 5 months. They faxed me and the LG repair shop a 30 day warranty for my tv to cover the repair. Just tell them you heard a pop and in my case the picture is distorted. All they need is the model number and serial number and they should take care of it. No arguing needed.

as you said, this is a scan problem, but maybe not from the 'board' itself but maybe the flex cable. sometimes it becomes loose and it makes a bad connection between the panel and the board. if the tv is under waranty: please call LG service customer they are very friendly and thay can give you a reference number that will get you a free repair in an authorized LG service center... anyway thats the way we work around here (qu?bec,canada). let me know
