If the unit will not power on anymore it needs to be repaired or replaced. There is a part inside the player that has gone bad and needs to be replaced. The question is, is the part available from the manufacturer. The cost of the repair if you're not in warranty would be over $100 for parts and labor. Unless you paid more than that for the player, or you're in warranty, if it isn't turning on, buy a new player.
