The dishwasher acts as if it has no power. I checked all the house circuit breakers and none are tripped. The dishwasher circuit is not identified. I removed the interior of the door and smelled burnt plastic. I noted that a blue unit on the Circuit board/timer unit was melted and wires blackened. Can this individual component be replaced? Do I need an entire circuit board? What else could contribute to this problem?
The options you have are -
Buy areplacement board from a spares centre.
Buy a take- off board from a scrap one on Ebay.
Or - Learn about electronic repair - and identify the burnt component , buy the parts and replace it yourself.
You can take it to an electronic repair shop - if you can find one - or a electronic supply shop - and ask for a new one of "them".
If replacing a burnt component - often there is a cause other than just that component.
Experience tells you what else might be wrong to cause it.

I have a Maytag Quiet Series 100 dishwasher that will not spray water in wash cycle. The water enters during wash cycle, but is never forced into the spray arms. At the first occurance, the machine was set for a delayed start. When I checked the next morning, the completed cycle indicator was on, but the dishes had not been washed. I tried another wash, but when the spray never came on, I ended the wash, and the machine drained, as normal.
