I have a 2-year old compaq presario c502us laptop.

I have a 2-year old compaq presario c502us laptop. All of sudden, it couldn't be powered on anymore. I tried to use the power cord and battery only. When pressing the power button, nothing worked. Is this because something is bad on the motherboard or battery/power supply issue?

- yes, when I plugged in the power adapter, the light is on, but pressing power button still doesn't do anything. Thanks for your help!

clear bios by replacing small battery on mainboard for 10 haurs and then power on,
if dosent worked tell me to give you anoyher solution
