Forgot my old password

When you boot up to the log in screen type in administrator as user to log in if you cant log in

during the boot up process you will see on the screen for a short amount of time press a certain key to enter set up press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there

The most common way that we know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing the Cmos battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased.

cmos battery Under the keyboard or bottom of laptop - If you are working on a laptop computer the location of the dipswitch (almost never a jumper) can be under the keyboard or on the bottom of the laptop in a compartment such as the memory compartment. Although on some motherboards the Cmos battery is soldered in Hope this helps you

Cant log in because i forgot my password

i have used this software and can guarantee that it works although you might have to get a computer with an internet connection to download and burn it to a disc
UBCD4Win is a bootable CD which contains software that allows you to repair, restore, or diagnose almost any computer problem also has a bios reset tool which can remove your password and bios password
you will have to burn it to a disk as an ISO then you will have to boot from the disc During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS the scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart (note after you have removed your password you will have change first boot back to your hard drive)
Hope this helps

Where can i find the bios boot screen?

Turn the computer on.
When you see the "Press DEL to enter BIOS SETUP" message, press the 'DEL' key.

Depending on which BIOS you have, and what storage-controller you have, your storage-controller may be listed -- especially if a disk-drive is attached to the storage-controller.

Or, for some storage-controllers, do *NOT* press the 'DEL' key. Instead, wait for the "Press CTRL-A to enter..." for some SCSI storage-controllers.

Without more details about your manufacturer and type of storage-controller (SATA? SCSI?) it's impossible to give more-specific advice.

LSI Web BIOS won't start?

I have a LSI 8888ELP on a Asus P5Q Deluxe and had the same problem with not being able to access the Web BIOS.

What I found was I could access the Web BIOS if I disconnected the hard drive that plugged into the onboard controller.

Mobo reads less ram than windows

possible that you have incompatible mem installed, the archictecture of the mem could be 32mb x 64bit could mean that the "BIOS" may only be able to see 32Mb x 8 which to me suggests that this is not the correct mem for this Motherboard, is this mem recovered from another system or an old board. Try and use their memory configurator to find the correct mem for your motherboard (enter the MB manuf and model)

NetRAID-2M hangs out while initializing HDDs

Here's a link to the fireware update tool you need to do the flash: As for never getting the chance to boot from the floppy drive to update the drives, try using the ServeRAID controller just to flash the drives then put the NetRAID-2M controller back in.
