Question about Lenovo ThinkPad T30 PC Notebook
When I turned on my thinkpad today the screen is backlit but is completely black. No graphics display at any stage even before it boots into windows.
It boots up fine though. I tested this by hooking the thinkpad up to a monitor where I can see it booting into windows.
Have you any suggestions as to what is wrong with my thinkpad screen or how I could go about fixing this?
Thanks in advance,
If there's an external image, here's the possibilities:
Bad inverter (25-30.00)
Bad backlight in lcd (new lcd 75.00-100.00)
THe cable has been disconnected from the lcd or the motherboard.
That's really all it can be. Is there any image, no matter how faint, on the lcd? If so, I'd go for a new inverter.
Good luck, hope it helps.
