gee, it really is a this RIGHT? not ASUS at all.
the CE0979 is not the model its the electric safety standards.

tell what your computer is, first. type >? notepad or laptop or what, tell what it is first. or show photos of the backside
or the service tag.

and what Bluetooth you have headphones maker and model.

many PC have no Bluetooth receiver at all for sure older and for sure some cheap notepads. have none.


That CE mark means this:

CE marking to European standards and directives for European market access.
CE marking is a legal requirement for most products sold in Europe

Try first unplugging power cable, and see if it clears the error

Hi , Remove the battery and then replace it again. It could be the contacts on the notepad and battery are dirty. Next, get a volt/ohm meter and measure if power is good in adapter. Now try if notepad will run. Also check the connections that they are firm and good.
If lose replace connector. Good luck.

Sounds like a failed keyboard. They're simple to replace and parts can be ordered by laptop model number from HP, eBay or from one of the many used laptop parts places online. Expect to pay around $30-50.

Try the following tips;
1. Press Fn key once, release it and type on a notepad or etc....
2. Press Fn + Numlock (press simultaneous as you press ctrl+c to copy) once and test the type again.
This key combination is to activate and deactivate function key (Fn).

If you are getting a lot of = character along with the beeping, this indicates you have a stuck = key and the beeping sound is the keyboard buffer is swamped with the = character. If you can't unstick this key, then you need to replace the keyboard.

If you are just trying to prevent access to notepad delete the icons. If you still have your install or recovery disk you can insert it and remove the application that way... Good luck... Be mucho blessed...Mark
