Question about Whirlpool Microwave Ovens
I have done several power off and on to do diagnostics. F1E5 indicates it's Inverter. But I am doubtful on this as Microwave seems to have issue with door latch. I had a bad fuse and replaced it. Before this, I was getting "Feature not available" now its gone after new fuse. Wondering if it an issue with Primary Interlock switch or Monitor Interlock switch. Any help is appreciated.
A door switch may be defective due to opening the door while it's cooking instead of pressing the "stop" pad first, or a switch's mount is loose, misaligned, or broken.

Yes. One of your door switches is not working. It could be an alignment issue or a faulty switch. There are actually 3 switches in the door latch area.

I just had the same problem with my microwave. First DISCONNECT THE POWER. Remove the front top grill (screws are on top of microwave). Unscrew the one screw at the top of the control panel and lift it out of the way. You will see three micro switches to the left of the pannel. I bent the metal frame they were mounted to by hand to move them back into place. The microwave oven works great now. If this does not help, then I would consider replacing the top limit switch.

It may be a loose or misaligned top door switch or that switch's mount, or possibly a bent or misaligned door.
See our file on door switches.
It would be useful to remove the controller and then observe how the upper door latch head (hooklike device) activates the top door switch when you open and close the door.
At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number from the tag on the oven here.
