SOURCE: ge 900 MHz cordless phone set on rotary dialing

Lisa, If the 900MHZ phone is Model 26928M programming for rotary dial usually goes like below, can't hurt to try on any model. TONE/PULSE DIALING This adjustment allows you to select tone (touch-tone) or pulse (rotary) mode dialing. The phone is pre-set for touch-tone use. To set to tone or pulse dialing: 1. Press and hold the program button for two seconds. You will hear a beep. 2. Press the *tone button to select Tone Dialing or press #pause to select Pulse Dialing. 3. Press the program button again. You will hear a confirmation tone.

SOURCE: need to reset fisher paykel DEGX1

That appliance is fairly complicated. If you want to service it yourslef, my honest answer is to get the factory service manual from fisher paykel. You can get it here:

SOURCE: it sounds like rotary dialing

I have a similar Panasonic phone (KX_TGA101S).  Someone must have inadvertently changed the dial mode on you.  Here is how you change it on mine, which should be similar to yours.  Hit the Menu button.  Scroll down to "Set tel line" and hit the Menu Button (OK). If it isn't displayed, scroll to "Set Dial Mode" and hit the Menu Button. Select Tone instead of Pulse and hit the Menu Button.  That should do it.

My Realistic DX-390 displays a "Door Key" symbol on the read-out screen. Can I eliminate this so that the radio functions?

Please see below. I believe that you have set the tuning to LOCK, hence the KEY symbol. I have done the same thing with other radios. I bet you never forget this!

Manual Tuning with Rotary Dial You can select a higher or lower frequency by turning ROTARY TUNING. Set FAST/FINE/LOCK to select the rotary tuning increments or to lock the ROTARY TUNING dial. The following table shows the tuning increments for the FAST and FINE settings. '------'------'-------'------'-------' ' ' FM ' LW ' MW ' SW ' '------'------'-------'------'-------' ' FAST ' 0.1 ' 9 kHz ' 9/10 ' 0.005 ' ' ' MHz ' ' kHz ' MHz ' '------'------'-------'------'-------' ' FINE ' 0.05 ' 1 kHz ' 1 kHz' 0.001 ' ' ' MHz ' ' ' MHz ' '------'------'-------'------'-------' To lock the ROTARY TUNING dial, set FAST/FINE/LOCK to lock. This keeps you from changing the frequency if you accidentally touch the dial. NOTE: This locks only the ROTARY TUNING dial.

Why won't replica rotary dial phone works well but won't ring on incoming calls

Whats a rotary phone? J/k we're not that old yet.

Because phone systems are no longer analong. The way a rotary rings is by an increase in line voltage.

Had a power outage a while ago for 24hrs, so I went around and turned everything off and once the power came back on I went and turn the heating back on at the mains switch. Now it is coming up with...

Pull the controller off the wall, press 3+5 buttons down, then replace on wall while still pushing buttons in.... a group of 5-6 bars will appear, then when it says type in address -turn dial to 1. this will re set it.

Hi i have a brivis eh 30 unit that comes up with error 65 and 30 the display inside the unit says fan limp, if i reset it from the unit it works for about 1 hr then the same thing can anyone help please

Hi. Here are the error codes for your Brivis Heater. Error Codes 30 - relating to speed sensor, 40 - overheating, 65 - motor lock-out. Usually resetting the unit will resolved the issue. In your case, you already reset the unit and problem came back. This will require immediate attention by Brivis technician.

Brivis Buffalo 85 central heating unit - fan stays on problem

I have exactly the same problem. When I have the cover off there is a red light on, from what I can tell is the "Over Heat Fan" this seems to keep the fan on, and because it is in error prevents the system igniting. Haven't got a solution yet it only happened last night. Stu.

Zoning not programmed

Hi ill be honest this is a little tricky
There are many variations depending on a few things.
Is it heating only or add on refrig as well?
Is there a common zone or an area constantly open?
How many networker controls 1 or 2
So any way this is the set up for heating only 2 zones and common zone.

Turn the networker wall control off
in the off screen press the clock key (the time will flash)
hold down the 2 & 4 keys for about 5 seconds
depending on the model and what other appliances are lincked to it it will display either
H01 ID01 1500 (NC3 2004 onward)
1500 01 H01 (NC1&2 pre 2004)
press the (M or mode) button till you get to the N1 parameters eg N1 ID01 01
press the number 1 key or on older models top key
should then display should read
N01 ID15 01(COMMON ZONE)
Then using the dial to change the setting to read the same as below once done press the number 1 key or top key to advance to the next setting
press the number 1 key
N01 ID16 01(NETWORKER NUMBER)
N01 ID17 01(ZONE A)
N01 ID18 01(RELAY NUMBER ZONE 1)
N01 ID19 01(NETWORKER NUMBER)
N01 ID20 02(RELAY NUMBER ZONE 2)
N01 ID21 01(NEWORKER NUMBER)
then press the number 1 key followed by the on off button then, provided its all been installed correctly zones should appear and operate :-) good luck and i hope this helps.

Brivis Heater help

These Brivis guys and girls are a rip-off. They are only out to take your money. Then can easily ask you to do just as mentioned above. And pronto all works in 3 minutes to be precise.
It is just the power supply reset required due to a fult being detected, either caused by a very low setting on the controller less than 16 degs. or a higher than 25 degs. setting causing overheating when the damper outlets are mostly closed.
So, put the power supply to heater off first, reset the heater panel, press the button again to shaow EMS on and then set the heater to the required temp. after turning on to the heating mode. That simple! That is if it is the error 71 HI.
