TD sensor (Vt high) error 1: C
• The Vt value of the black, magenta, cyan, or yellow TD sensor exceeds the specified value (default: 4.7V) with SP3-020-002 for twenty counts. • The [Vt - Vtref] value of the black, magenta, cyan, or yellow TD sensor exceeds the specified value (default: 5.0V) with SP3-020-001

Causes

• Black, magenta, cyan, or yellow TD sensor disconnected • Harness between TD sensor and PCDU defective • Defective TD sensor

Remedy

1. Check the black, magenta, cyan, or yellow TD sensor connector and harness between the TD sensor and PCDU for damage. 2. Check the drawer connector. 3. Replace the defective PCDU.

This error indicates a problem with the magenta drum rotation motor. Remove the magenta drum unit and reseat it. Restart the printer. If the error still continues then replace the drum. You can also look in the install slot for the magenta drum to see if there is any visible damage.

393-004: M magenta td sensor error

• Defective TD sensor
• Development unit not found

correctly installed.
3. Remove the development unit and
check the connector on the rear.

• Someone forgot to remove the toner
seal of the PCU
• ID sensor defective
• TD sensor abnormal
• Drum does not turn
• Development roller does not turn
• Poor connection of the PCU drum unit
Clean connector of TD sensor and
Try Change the development unit, adjust TD sensor.
Clean and you verify the connector of PCU.

I am getting a code of E000751-0302, not all the time but is becoming more frequent. I have the codes for the 3200 but this one must be 3220 only as it is not listed. Thanks, Tom

E751 (0302) code is not found in the Service Manual. This code is addressed in Tech Pub TP03 125. The code refers to a memory writing error in the magenta drum unit. Check or replace the magenta drum unit or the Memory board (Memory Board part number is FG3-2345-000.
E751 The connection of the drum unit /toner container is faulty. The mark x indicates color [Y=1, M=2, C=3, K=4]. 000x The connection of the drum unit (at the printer side) is faulty. 100x The connection of the toner container (at the printer side) is faulty. 010x Built-in memory writing error in the drum unit. 110x Built-in memory writing error in the toner container. 020x Built-in memory data error in the drum unit. 120x Built-in memory data error in the toner container. 030x Built-in memory writing error in the drum unit (When the number of retry exceeds the specified value) 130x Built-in memory writing error in the toner container (When the number of retry exceeds the specified value).

the sequence of that particular error code is;
E020-01XX(Yellow drum)
E020-02XX(Magenta drum)
E020-03XX(cyan drum)
