When trying to set the temperature for the oven the word "door" appears and I'm not able to set the temp.

This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the sensor is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue start by checking the oven temp. sensor for 1100 ohms, if the rating is more then that then check the control board however, as the issue is only with upper oven it is most likely that the temperature sensor is bad and should be replaced. The most common cause of a F9 error code is a problem with the door latch circuit. There could be a pinched wire for the circuit causing a short or the door latch motor is defective. Sometimes a problem with the ERC can cause this error to appear. Possible problems can very slightly from manufacturer for this error code but almost all use the F9 error code for the oven door lock.

HI. this code can come up for two different reasons. it could during a bake session or a cleaning situation as well. I will list the details below.

During Baking(((f2)))

During a baking session, if the control senses an active oven temp above 615f-630f, this code will appear.

If actual over temperature condition occurred: Look for welded relay contacts on bake or broil relays. If this happens, replace oven control (also called clock or ERC).

If no over temperature condition occurred: Look for a high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Replace sensor if found defective.

Remember: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit , not actual oven temperature.

During Cleaning(((f2)))

During a cleaning session, if the control senses an active oven temp above 915f-930f, this code will appear.

If actual over temperature condition occurred: Look for welded relay contacts. If this happens, replace oven control (also called clock or ERC).

If no over temperature condition occurred: Look for a high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Replace sensor if found defective. Check door lock switches.

Remember: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit , not actual oven temperature.

Change the temp sensor.

Adjusting Oven Temperature
Oven temperature has been factory calibrated and tested. If
oven consistently over or under cooks food, adjust thermostat.
Oven temperature can be increased or decreased 35°F. To
avoid over adjusting oven, move temperature 5°F each time.
1. Push BAKE pad.
2. Press + pad until an oven temperature greater than 500°F
shows in display.
3. Immediately push and hold, approximately 5 seconds,
BAKE button until “00” appears.
4. Press + or - arrow pad to adjust oven temperature.
• To increase oven temperature (for a hotter oven), Press
pad until a positive number appears in display.
• To decrease oven temperature (for a cooler oven),
Press pad until a negative number appears in display.
5. Press OVEN CANCEL pad to save adjustment.
• Setting is saved if power fails or is disconnected.

If hitting clear/cancel won't clear it try unplugging and then plug it back in. My guess is the oven control is bad. Here are the fault codes for this model.

hummmm this sounds similar to what is happening to me. I am praying someone will have a solution, I don't want to have to explain to my daughter who is going to be 4 tomorrow, why I can't bake her cake.
