You can get the Unlock code for this Phone at

Put your SIM card from the old one in the new one and there is a feature in there that gives you the choice to send to SIM card or phone mmemory.

You may just have to buy a data cable and do it that way. I've only see a couple phones have a usb plug on their main charger...

That so-called "solution" is totally worthless--the link goes to Pantech PHONE website, which has absolutely NOTHING in the way of downloads, for modems or anything else. As for you, Mr. ADRideau, why don't you bother to check your link before posting it?
Sadly, I don't have any answer to the problem, wish I did because my Verizon software won't recognize my UM175.

Install the latest Duo software load, from:

If you still have ActiveSync problems, try:
1) install activesync software
2) On the phone, go to Settings > Connections > Modem Link > then set the modem link status to INACTIVE.
3) On the phone, go to Settings > Connections > USB to PC > then select Enable advanced network functionality.
4) plug the phone in via USB to PC... the sync software will recognize the phone automatically when connected, and windows will not ask for driver install.
