Question about Mitsubishi WD-57731 57" Projection HDTV
Hi I tried turning on my tv with the remote and nothing happened.I un plugged it and replugged it and the green timer light flickered for about 30 sec and stopped but the tv never came on.I tried remote and manualy.Nothing.Dont even get a power light.Do you think my bulb is burnt and needs to be replaced? If so when i remove it what will it look like that will show me its burnt out?Ive had my set for about 16 months.Thank so much Cory wong
There is a lamp cover on the back that only requires a few screws to remove. the lamp is behine there, you will need a standard screwdriver to remove the lamp and inspect it. If indeed the lamp is bad you will see it shattered and/or burned at the tip. The timer light flashing for 30 seconds is normal as the TV is going thorugh a boot up process. One word of advise, don't touch the glass part of the lamp pnly the case.
