My printer has been printing out blobs of black ink for awhile it started out small and now it's out of control. When I look inside there's ink everywhere. I've replaced my ink cartridges and tried to clean off the excess ink inside my printer but that didn't seem to help. Now when i print not only is there black ink everywhere but instead of the cartridges sliding back and forth smoothly when printing there being jerked.
Printer heads, nozzles or carriage are kaput. Time for a new printer, they're cheap enough. Repairs will cost more than a new printer. Epson.com sells cheap with free s&h

Sometimes my Epson C48 stops printing in the middle of a printing job. It's status remains PRINTING, green light keeps on flashing but ink monitor can't detect any ink levels and printing head is in it's most right position. Cartriges have enough ink. What is wrong with my epson printer or my printing software?
