Vista home basic activation date has expired
Even though I would still give you a temporary solution, I would suggest that you should go and buy new copy.
This is because, as you should be aware of by now, it is a criminal offence to try and crack softwares, especially operating systems.
But until you are able to save the money for a new OS, do this:
It is a very simple personal trick that I discovered and use.
When you start your system, wait for it to finish booting until it gets to the system locked "Activate Now".
Then just press F1 on your Keyboard.
This will bring out a small help page, asking you to type what you want to search.
In the search column, type "CMD" and press enter.
After doing this, it will open the help page for the "CMD" (Command Prompt),
Then under it you will see a link --> click somewhere to open a command prompt window.
Click on this Link place.
Then a Command prompt window will be opened for you.
On this Command Prompt page, Just Type:
userinit.exe and press enter.
This will clear all the locks that prevents you from accessing your system, and allow you to work on your system.
But remember, close only the Command Prompt Window, and Help Columns.
Do Not Close the Page that asked you to activate your OS. If you do so, your system will be locked back.
Just drag it to one Corner of the desktop and continue working on your system freely.
At any time you start your system, just do this.
It will keep unlocking your system for you temporarily until you are ready to buy a new OS.
But make sure you don't ignore getting a new OS because you now have this temporary way through the system lock.
Try this out and let me know how it goes.
