Question about JVC GR-D250 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
Hi! I have a JVC GR-D250 mini DV camera.. I just recently installed FireWire on my computer which is running: Windows Me, is a pentium 3. with 750Mhz and a hard drive of 37.2 GBs. and 250 Mb of Ram...
the guy who installed Firewire for me, said that his sony dv camera worked perfectly.. why can't mine??? I pluged the plug into the firewire socket. and switched my camera to 'play' mode.. and my computer won't recognise it.. :(
I have a dvd burner too.. and the software i got with it, shuts my computer down when i try to install it :( why???
I already have Windows Movie Maker already installed and when i click "record" it says there is no video device.. only audio... what the..? please help..
put it in memory mode and try.if it showing there is no any problem with camera and you pc,because this camera when it is in cassette play back mode it is not supporing with pc.

Best Buy has a 6 pin to 4 pin firewire cable. You will need some software as well to copy to the hard drive such as Pinnacle Studio if you don't have on already.
Once the cable is plugged in and turned on Studio will detect the camera and run the program.
