Hi, my phone recently happened with the same problem. It was due to a faulty cable connector from main board to the slide port. Replace the cable and this will fix your problem. You need to send it Service Center.

I have g600 samsung mobile, when i make or receive a call the other person can hear me but i cant hear them, there is also no ringing tone wen i make a call although it does connect. My music wont play...

The speaker/earpiece is possibly faulty. You need to take the phone tto a reputable mobile phone engineer or Samsung service point for testing/repair.

I HAVE SAMSUNG SGH-U600 WITH SOUND PROBLEM

hi :)
Well, your problem is mine problem, and the problem of all U600 with some use. The problem is the Flex Cable that connect to LCD is "broken". So, you just need to go to the Samsung office (if you have guaranty) or do the same like me... I have no guaranty left so, I will buy a new flex cable in ebay, and then I will make the changes by myself... but of course, you shouldn't do that if you don't understand nothing of that... :P I'm just waiting a letter from ebay to complete my account and "Voila" :) If you just need to know how to open your phone to change, there are a really good video on youtube about that ;)
Good luck ;)
