Problem for Frigidaire Electric Dryer

Thermal Limiter

I have deduced that the reason my frigidaire gallery FDE847GES0 dryer will not start is the thermal limiter... the start button clicks but no action, CB is not tripped and the light is on in the drum. I do not have a tester to verify this solution. What else can I do to check?

The belt on the drum my be broke

- The limit will not stop your drum from turning it only cuts off the power the heating element
