The switch can be repaired if you have the patience. There are four springs inside and some contacts, which should be cleaned. The small springs are place under the contacts and the large springs fit on the end of the metal blade that is attached to the switch button, and the other end of each spring fits on a plastic spigot on the inside of the smaller switch housing. The switch is best assembled on the trigger and the outer housing placed over it once everything is in place.
