SOURCE: Washing Machine Door won't open

I had the same problem. I went through all the steps on this thread to no avail. Finaly I just pryed the thing open - with no damage, thank goodness.

Once open I saw that the latch in the door didn't move when I pulled the handle. The problem it seems was in the latch on the door itself. If you end up this problem and want to get wet clothes out, just stick a flat-head screwdriver, behind the door latch into the horseshoe-shaped metal bit and lever it open - no prying necessary.

Not sure how I'm going to fix this permantely but at least I got my wet clothes out and can do laundry as long as I keep the screwdriver near by.

To fix - I'll either need to figure out how to disassemble the door and replace the latch mechanism, or just buy a whole new door.

Error code F13 showing on whirlpool ghw9300pw2, please help

Controller fails to detect door lock triac correctly This error code is displayed if the main control unit fails to detect the door lock triac correctly. Also, if the controller cannot unlock the door after 240 seconds after the cycle is completed then this error will be shown.
If displayed switch the washing machine off completely, recommend disconnecting it from the mains supply for a few seconds. Switch it back on and the controller will attempt to unlock the door once more but, if it fails to do so in the same 240 seconds the error code will be displayed once more.
  • Check all wiring and connectors between the main controller and the door lock
  • Check main control unit, probably requires to be replaced

Whirlpool WTW4950XW Washer won't go past the sensing cycle.

It may be as simple as a defective door switch or even a clogged drain hose (the hose between the tub and drain pump. Here are some videos that may help you more than i can. This guy knows:

No power on lg washer model wm2032hw

see the causes and fix it. Use the common sense. God bless you
If your washer doesn't seem to work at all, check these: No power Lid switch No power Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped? Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. To determine if the lid switch has failed, watch the part testing video at the bottom of this page. Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.

Due pulling of the door forcibly the door interlock switch has damaged. So the door cannot lock properly &r the door lock switch is not functioning. Replace the door interlock switch.

I have a whirlpool gbs307 oven and after completing a self-clean cycle and wiping it clean after it cooled, it won't heat at all. Any ideas?

HI,
This is usually caused by either a bad door switch, a loose door switch mount, or a problem on the control panel.

Even though a door switch clicks, it may still be bad inside.

thank you,

Machine partially fills and then stops working.

THE RCD SWITCH is concealed on the inner side of the hindges of the door or on the top innerside of the door. it is a simple push switch which has a mechanism of push to on/off
this switch has got stuck in off position.
change this switch or spray a drop of rust removal oil. it will start functioning
