Horizontal lines on NEC plasma

I have an NEC 42 inch plasma. 2 days ago horizontal lines have been travelling upwards on the screen. Any idea how this has been caused or how I can fix this? Thank you

-   Yes, I have a Sharp 32", I have vertical colors travling on my screen. It now takes, 20 minuts, befor I get a picture working. It"s a little over a year old.-   pcpilot

-   I have a Samsung HPT4254 720P 42 Inch Plasma HDTV That is NEW! Had it for about barly a year. And no warrenty.It turns on and the sound works. But it has white and black Horizontal lines all over the screen and thats all you see. I called Samsung and they said they couldnt help me. I said well give me back my 1,200 back then A HOLE! :0 I will never buy a samsung product again.-   Shwmesumsk1n

-   picture normal for 1hr then afterwards the picture getting red every 15mins and with vertical line in the middle of the screen

Intermittent horizontal deflection
Resoldered the pins of horizontal deflection transformer
Picture is horizontally narrowed and deformed
Capacitor C2913 (390nF, 250V) on the deflector PCB had lost capacity
Geometric distortion, Pillow, and picture enlarged horizontaly
The problem was a short from GND to pin 11 inside IC301 (TDA8350Q). This pin is the output of amplifier for geometric correction signal. Replace IC301

- You rate me Helpful maybe the preparation was not meet your requirements to troubleshoot your problem It is possible not to give up everything I think you need warm up to pickup everything under sun.
Just follow my advice to look for an expert to settle down your problem. I hope you can find a good technician to replace the given tips to prove my expertise does not good enough information I give but it just too simple to follow rules.
