How to remove user panel in front door of Gaggenau SK533062 fridge_freezer to replace the long cable in the fridge door which has broken wires causing alarm when moving the door open and close

Your fridge is telling you there is a fault, i'd say one of the 2 fans are not working. If everything is freezing in the bottom of the food compartment then the upper fan is faulty. You have to remove the shelves & remove the rear panel, the fan is in the shute at the bottom, remove, repair the broken wire or replace. Make sure unit is unpluged.

Sounds like the defrost element in the freezer has failed in spectacular form, this is the most common fault for tripping power, or it could be the thermostat but this is highly unlikely.
If you can, gain access to the element by dismanteling the panel inside the freezer, the element will run at the base of the cooling cores with a wire at each end (black) and an earth point (green), check with multi-meter, on earth and one on black, check both ends of black. You should find you will have a flow through one of the ends that will indicate a short curcuit, replace the element if faulty.

Whenever the fridge is open it gives 19 beeps actually.In your case even when it is closed it is giving 19 beeps.This is the problem with control board.The control receives the signal when closing the door and stops the sound.Check the wiring connection to and fro the control board to the door.Control board costs high.This is small problem you can just unplug the wiring connection to the door to the board instead of spending more.

If you replaced your door gasket and your absolutely sure that its sealing properly, then it might not be coming from your door. Ice builds up when warm air enters the fridge and the condensation freezes inside the freezer. The biggest suspect for warm air entering into the fridge is a faulty door gasket. However there can be another cause. If you remove the back panel of your freezer you should be exposed with the wires that come into the freezer and power the different components inside. The entrance point were the wires come in is insulated with a type of clay that prevents moisture from entering. However if this clay becomes loose it is possible for moisture to enter and start icing up. If you can remove the panel yourself safely without hurting yourself or damaging the fridge i recommand trying this first. If you don't feel comfortable doing this i recommand having a service technician taking a look at it. Hope this helps.

how to set thermostat on double door fridge freezer

I have had the same issue with Fisher Paykel Active Smart fridge . This can be due to:
1) 12Volt fan in freezer is not functioning.
To test: open freezer door, place a magnet on magnet switch at the bottom of freezer where door seals(white plastic rectangle) It takes few seconds for fan to rev up so move magnet slowly until switch on. You can also close door and listen carefully if fan starts if unsure.
If fan works go to 2) 3)as defrosting resistance can be the trouble

2)If fan does not work . UNPLUG FRIDGE at the main plug
Empty freezer and defrost it if too icy (do not use sharp objects). Then on back panel you will see two holes on top. Put two hook tool and pull down and slightly forward until top lip is free. This is hard to do but the plastic panel is very strong so you can apply a bit of force there!!!
On the second panel is the fan, check wires are not broken (common cause of failure). unplug fan, you can check fan on 12V battery (+red). Buy a new fan if faulty and put freezer panel back.
3) If fan OK and you see a lot of ice on condenser (do not remove it by force, just let it melt completely) then the resistance is the cause of you trouble. It is delicate to remove and make sure FRIDGE IS UNPLUGGED! Do not force anything as condenser is very fragile and if you damaged it, your fridge can go straight to the dump. You can test the resistance with an Ohm meter to make sure internal resistance is broken or not. If broken replace it and your fridge will be fixed. If not broken then trouble is either with on board computer (very seldom) or the thermistance.

The top hinge of my Neff integrated fridge freezer has broken so the door won't open and shut properly. As a temporary repair I intend to swop the hinges around -replacing the top hinge with the middle one but can't see how to remove the hinges. Can anyone help?
