Having trouble disconnecting hose from quick connector. Does it disconnect at the connector bottom where the sprayer hose connects or at the top of the connector at the white tabs? Tried both ends and cannot get to disconnect. Do you have an instruction video. Thank you.
SOURCE: disconnect the electrical connector
There should be just a clip on the connector that pops up and releases from the bulb.

You can use two small flathead screwdrivers. What you need to do first is the unclip the connection. Once you unclip it, you need to push in on the smaller side of the clip with a regular flat head screwdriver. When you push it in, you also have to try to push the hinged side clip in as well. The hinged side clip needs to be straightened out so the you can pull the filter pipe out. I found the easiest way to do this is to line the two opening up, and while I'm pushing on the smaller side of the clip, stick a small screwdriver on the backside and pry it out. It is a pain to do it without the special tool, it took me about 10-15 minutes to make pry the green "ring" off so that I could pull out the line.
SOURCE: HOW DO I CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER ON MY 2002 GMC
First - Safety is always the key to working with fuel:
1) Remove from the area of work anything that could ignite the fuel, 'High intensity shop lights, no smoking'
2) Work with a flash light or directional battery operated light if its dark.
Two tools to have in my opinion -
1) Pliers
2) Needle nose
1st - use the pliers to spin/break the hose end loose over the In and out flang of the fuel filter.
2nd - If you have a needle nose pliers which have a very narrow nose end.
Place the nose end all the way at the hose end that's over the fuel filter's intake/output flange.
You then can leverage the hose off by forcing the body of the needle nose up against the body of the filter.
Just like a teeter totter where the body of the filter becomes the /\ fulcrum of the teeter totter.
Hope this makes sense?
Blessings,
