hmm i just got a samsung hcr4751wx from my work they are putting it in the garbage because they said it doesnt work. when i plug it in a red light just flashes. anyone have any ideas whats up?

Those bastards manufactures are always making sure you won't be able to use parts from one model to the other. Especially-display! LCD panels could be rigged, but no plazma's. Sorry!
Sell it for parts to some repair shop and get yourself LCD or LED panel. Plazma is gone!
