SOURCE: Connectivity of a Blu-Ray Disc Player

Both should have a variety of different connection means; the standard red, white, yellow marked RCA type inputs, possibly S-video with separate audio (that would be the red, white mentioned before), possibly DVI.
Looking at the manuals for both or the available inputs on each, you should be able to match up the differing systems without problem.

SOURCE: Dynex router blocks connection of Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-Ray to Net

I'm not familiar with that particular router, but all of them are about the same. You can go in and edit firewall settings to allow a particular IP address to have access. Don't disable the firewall completely, just set it to allow that I.P address to have full access.

SOURCE: My Samsung Blu Ray BD1250 fails on the last

I believe if you look at your linksys settings DNS is disabled by default. Unless you are using domain name service it should be off or disabled.

SOURCE: Hello, the 4 LAN ports on my D-Link router, model

It probably is your router that is the problem.
Disconnect its AC power, and reconnect it, to "reset" the router.

Also, try connecting your Blu-Ray player directly to your cable-modem (or DSL-modem), bypassing your router. Turn the modem off, and then turn on, and then turn your Blu-Ray player on, and it should be able to connect to the Internet (and NetFlix).

Try a different router.

hook your dvd player up to the tv via hdmi, then take the optical audio output from you tv to the soundbar. Make sure to enable to audio output jack in the tv setup menu as some manufacturers disable this jack by default.

The wireless connection option is grayed out on the network configuration screen. How do I enable this? Is wifi built-in? If not, are there specific USB wifi adapters that are compatible?

I do not know the specs for the RCA BRC11082E blu-ray player. However, the RCA BRC11082 blu-ray player does not have a built-in wireless option. It has a wired LAN port. No wireless adapter will work in the USB port. It is a good idea to install a flash drive (FAT16 or FAT32 format) to buffer internet content when downloading BD-Live content.

The manual for the BRC11082 is available here: http://www.voxxsupport.com/images/User%20Manuals%20-%20FAQ%27s/BRC11082_DOC_OM.pdf .

I hope this helps and wish that I had better news for you.

Make sure you have connected the blu ray players HDMI out to the Denon's HDMI in. HD sound is passed only through the HDMI port. And in the BD370's sound menu disable downsampling ( i.e enable uncompressed PCM audio for HDMI ).

My blue ray player claims to have built in wi fi; but I can't seem to get it to hook up to the internet, it keeps telling me that it is missing hardware

Hi devinanne, please don't shoot the messenger as I am just answering your question. This Blu-Ray player does not have wi-fi for any purpose. And the only reason it connects to the internet is for software/firmware upgrades. For that, it must be connected via the LAN port on the rear just above the USB port via an ethernet cable.(See page 44 of your manual). It does have Anynet+ which means it can control all of your Samsung audio/video devices from one remote. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. If I answered your question please give 4 thumbs up. And thanks for using FixYa.
