Question about Televison & Video
Tonight a blue vertical line appeared on my tv screen about 6" from the left, and a black horizontal line appeared about 4" from the top. The tv is only 6 weeks old. What is this problem?
Picture displaced vertically, picture too high or low
This problem was cured by entering the service mode (menu then 4,7,2,5), then pressing the green fastext button to access geometry settings, selecting VP1 (vertical position) and adjusting as necessary
Vertical line at the left of the picture
Replace L506 on A board, replacement part number 1-407-366-00

SOURCE: Lines on tv screen
Both sound like bad LCD panels. The following must be answered to confirm this:
Do the lines appear on all inputs/all signal sources?
Can they be seen in the OSD/menu?
If yes to both questions, it is likely that the LCD panel is bad
