Seaco coffee brew malfunction

I have a Seaco Primea touch plus Cappuccino machine, I have also wasted several hundred grams of coffee beans because the machine grinds and goes through all the functions but does not pass water through the beans but throws the dry grindings into the waste container and then goes back to main menu select. After the grinding the machine makes a noise like compressing but does not rerach the point of activating the water. The Brew group is spotless and I gave used the supplied grease but found the grease points in the manual very vague with arrow points pointing to a complex system. appreciate any help
