I have a DVD Player Model INITIAL RB-Li-26 your Model IDM 7110 My Grandson broke the Blue Chip which is soldered onto the mechanism that has the LED to read the disc. A blue chip is plugged into a White socket. he broke the blue chip right at the white connector. This unit must have a new chip soldred onto the unit.
Can it be returned somewhere in Canada or USA for repair and what would be the price to repair the broken Chip? Where should it be returned. The best for me is NY or Boston. It would go via DHL or FED Ex or UPS.
